Ok I am back with an update, one week apart, kind of rare for this website isn't it? Update on the SMOU and Wavelink Social Nite on 1 December 2007. The theme for the night was "Around the World" and boy, did the staff dress up for the event. SMOU organises a Social Nite for all its members and shipping associates every year. This year's event was rather different as it was one of those D & D events which much thought was put into and everyone indeed had fun with the colourful costumes from around the world.

It was a whole of of fun the whole night, with JC Sum and Magic Babe Ning. This guy actually levitated a table on the stage and made the table dance around! Too bad we did not capture any pictures. There were also songs and games and the emcee was professional as well.

There was also a surprise birthday celebration for the December babies from SMOU and Wavelink as well. Thanks to all for the wonderful surprise!

Another update on birthday gift from the Starbuckians of IMM Family. Thanks Serene, Dylan, Rahim, Sabrina, Isaac and Bryan for the $100 Takashimaya shopping voucher. Once again I have confirmed that friends are tired of my fashion sense as I always wear the same clothes everyday. That is why I am given so many vouchers for this year's birthday. Haha...

Well it has been a long time since the last update (what's new anyway). Remember my previous post where I said it will not be another 3 months before I blog? Well it is kind of true as it is almost 5 months already! Enough said, apologies for any faithful readers out there who have not given up on this space yet :)

As mentioned above, I have just reached the age of 23 on 3rd December. Would like to give thanks to all my friends and colleagues who took the trouble to shop for gifts and celebrate my birthday for me, despite my indignant requests at not wanting to celebrate. My colleagues surprised me with a birthday cake, card and gift on 30th November. Really did not expect a celebration from them. You guys are lovely! 3rd December Midnight had supper with my best buddy Zhenpan, who treated me to doughsticks, shao bing and soya bean drink at Geylang. Thanks for making time out even though you had to work throughout the night. I also had the honour of celebrating my birthday with 4 gorgeous girls on 3rd December at Xin Wang Cafe. 4 girls and a guy, not too bad eh? Thanks to Yuhui, Baoqi, Daphne (super long never see her) and Jiamei for the dinner treat. The Rive Gauche cake was totally yummylicious to the max!

4. Goldlion wallet (with $100 stuffed inside as well) from Chang Hong, Yuhui, Pei Yoke, Sherfun, Wan Yee and Jiamei

As the title suggests, what is next in store for me? Maybe I am going to go through another change soon. Nowadays, I feel that my life is in a mess. I do not hate my life but I am just not happy with my current situation. I get a nagging feeling that my life is out of control right now, but I guess it's due to the nature of choice. Remember I started this blog with the title "Choices"? I guess it could be due to my choice to give up on the controls of my life. I am definitely going to do something about this, which means there may be another change soon (doesn't that happen everyday?). Hope that I will be able to find my calling pretty soon.
